In this session Cindy will explore the role of stories and transformation. In the context of her own work with Planetari, the company she founded to help pioneer transformative education, she will look at how stories shape our belief system, at how our current dominant belief system is at the root of climate change and ecological breakdown, and how by telling new stories for Earth we can help children to develop the mindset that will enable them to be part of co-creating a brighter future for our planet. 

About the author:

Cindy is an author, environmentalist and founder of Planetari, an education platform aligned to the UNSDGS that equips children be the innovators of a better world. Her children’s book ‘Bright New World’ is published by Welbeck in October 2022.  She has an MSc in Sustainability and Business Practice and was, formerly MD of the Blue Marine Foundation and CEO of Cambridge Science Centre.
