Cambridge City Council is hosting a drop-in session so that you can find out more about what the City Council is doing to make Cambridge cleaner and greener.

There will be a number of representatives from the City Council on hand to talk about projects taking place across the city to address climate change including: reducing energy use from buildings and homes, enhancing biodiversity, tree planting, and recycling and waste, to name just a few. No need to book, just drop by and have a chat with our colleagues to find out more about the Council’s work to tackle climate change.

About the organisers:

Climate change is a key priority for Cambridge City Council. In 2019, the Council declared a climate emergency.

The Council plays a community leadership role on climate change issues and has delivered a wide range of projects and activities to help reduce carbon emissions.

The City Council has set an ambitious target to reduce the Council’s direct carbon emissions to net zero carbon emissions by 2030 and shares a vision for Cambridge to be net zero carbon by 2030.
