Climate action in the Cambridge community

In this session you will hear from Cambridge City Council and speakers representing different community groups and projects.

Category: #1 Climate Accessibility [Community]

-

Do you want to find out how you can help to tackle climate change?

This session will give insight into the landscape of climate action in the Cambridge community.

Following the fast-paced PechaKucha format, and using the ethos to ‘talk less, show more’, the session will consist of a series of exciting mini-talks to give a snap-shot of local community projects happening across Cambridge.  You’ll get to find out more about these local projects, how they are tackling climate change, and how you can get involved in them.

The mini-talks will cover a number of topics so that there is something for everyone:

Reducing energy

Making things last longer

Sustainable food

Enhancing nature

Taking community action

There will be a chance to put your questions to our speakers and stalls to explore afterwards. You can even get your hands on the new Cambridge Climate Map!
