A Guide to Building Greener, for all ages

A hands-on workshop, making houses and insulation panels, playing with wind mills and water turbines.

-

This session is based on the old story of The 3 Little Pigs. Author Caroline Stephenson reads her lively rhyming tale aloud, with pauses for playing with building materials, making houses and connecting either a wind mill, or water mill and solar panels. Suitable for 3 years to 103!

About the organiser:

Caroline Stephenson read music at Newnham College from 1972 -75 and went on to teach music.  Now, in retirement, Caroline runs an outdoor education centre, for local history and green awareness. With a colleague, who is an experienced engineer, they have created lots of working models and a story-based education approach. This is particularly good for Infant and pre-school ages.
